Jazz Tribute to Tony Williams at Club 1857 on 7 November 2026

Join us on 7 November for a special jazz evening dedicated to the genius of Tony Williams — the drummer who changed the history of jazz. Emil Tassev Quintet brings together five of today’s most outstanding musicians on one stage to breathe new life into his compositions.

The lineup features:

Rosen “Roko” Zahariev – trumpet
Tihomir Krastev – tenor saxophone
Steve Hamilton – piano
Dimitar Karamfilov – double bass
Emil Tassev – drums

Tony Williams was a legendary American drummer, composer, and one of the most influential figures in the history of jazz. His bold, dynamic, and unpredictable style transformed the role of the drums — from an instrument that simply kept the beat into a fully-fledged voice in the musical dialogue.

Look forward to an evening of live jazz and a welcoming atmosphere. For an even better experience, add a glass of ice-cold Tyrolean Forst beer and good company.
